Walter Wientge Gift to FDCMG, Inc.

Walter Wientge, a longtime garden benefactor and TNH resident, left a bequest to the FDCMG, Inc. on his passing in 2019. Walter had been an art teacher for many years and was a well-known philanthropist to diverse organizations. An avid bird enthusiast, Walter had amassed a sizable collection of porcelain birds of all types. These birds, along with a collection of his original framed floral oil paintings are now the possession of FDCMG and will be available for sale in The Shop as well as on various Art in the Garden Sundays, coinciding with the Sunday Strolls. A display case in the Education Room of Clark House houses part of the collection, and will be available for viewing once Clark House is again open to the public.

If you would like to consider a legacy donation to FDCMG, you can specify that in your estate plans. Over the years, many garden lovers have generously remembered FDCMG in their final plans, and we are grateful.
